Overview

Utah's first Jellystone Park — a 53-acre destination resort with eight pools, a lazy river, water slides, 252 full-hookup RV sites and 34 cabins.

Scott Nielson bought 53 acres near Sand Hollow State Park and partnered with the Jellystone Park brand to build a resort unlike anything else in the state. Nielson Development served as General Contractor for the full build.

Phase one opened in summer 2023 with a water zone built around eight pools, a water tower, waterfalls, a lazy river and multiple slides — plus a jump pillow, pickleball and basketball courts, and a man-made lake with a floating obstacle course.

The work behind the attractions is what makes it a development project rather than a construction project: full-hookup RV infrastructure, cabin and tent site development, water filtration, pool construction, and utility management for a self-contained resort operation.

In 2025 — its second season — the park was named a finalist for Park of the Year within the Jellystone franchise and a finalist in the Outdoor Hospitality Industry's Awards of Excellence.
